20 Lenox Avenue in East Stroudsburg is a structure that has been around for well over a century. It was originally built as a barn in the 1860s, but many locals remember it as the former Plants & Design Garden Center. Plants & Design was in business for 40+ years until it closed its doors for good in 2015. From then on, the building sat abandoned as it slowly deteriorated; until 2020 when Troy Nauman stepped in.

With a business that was quickly outgrowing its location on Chestnut Street, Troy had a vision for the old Plants & Design building. He'd repurpose the space and turn it into Nauman Companies' new main office. The Nauman construction team quickly started gutting the building - removing junk and stripping down the structure to its original barn post and beam frame. From there, the team added all new plumbing, HVAC, electrical, insulation, roofing and a new exterior. Although the building went through a complete reconstruction process, 80% of the original barn structure was saved. Elements of the original barn post and beam frame can be seen throughout the interior of the building.

In the winter of 2021, Nauman Companies officially moved into 20 Lenox Avenue and has called it home ever since. It is the central hub for all the company's divisions - heating & cooling, plumbing, contracting, roofing and Handy Home Services.
